Bridewell Brewey
Clifden features a local craft brewery – Bridewell Brewery. Set up and run by Barbara Ann and Harry Sullivan. Tours of the brewery are offered on Thursdays at 11:00 in September, October and November. Pre-booking is essential. Better yet, try a pint — available on tap in numerous local establishments. We ourselves, enjoy the "Bridewell Blonde!"

Point Pony Trekking
Located outside the village of
Ballyconneely, past the Connemara Championship Golf Links, approximately 16km
(about a 20 minute) from Kingstown House B&B. We ourselves have ridden here, so
familiar with and only too happy to recommend. Attentive staff and felt very safe on the Connemara ponies we rode. All we can say is that there is something magical
about trekking across a beach with the Atlantic Ocean pounding away on your right
and the Twelve Bens to your left-hand side.
Errislannan Riding Centre
Located on the Errislannan peninsula approximately 5km (15 minute drive,) from our bed and breakfast. A bit more of a formal setting, just beyond the lovely Errislannan Manor.
Cleggan Beach Riding Centre
Located in Cleggan about 11km (20 minutes) from
our B&B. A seaside area near the Cleggan Pier and Inishbofin Ferry departure and
arrival points. Offers numerous options including :30 minute (for smaller children,
:60, :90 and the fabulous 2.5-3-hour trek to Omey Island.
