Kingstown House B&B was designated as a 3-Star B&B by TSA (Tourism Standards Assessments Ltd.,) Failte Ireland’s quality assurance standards program.

The front door of our bed and breakfast is conveniently located a mere 1-minute walk to Clifden Town Square (Centre) and within walking distance to the Galway to Clifden bus stop. We are close to beaches, fishing, golf, cycling and horse and pony riding and many other activities in the Connemara area.

Our B&B is well suited to those who enjoy outdoors adventures such as walking and hiking through the picturesque beautiful countryside of Connemara. We are an excellent touring base for those who wish to discover the magnificent scenery of County Galway.

We are a traditional home, located within the Clifden center, within walking distance of Clifden’s shops, restaurants and pubs. We offer a communal sitting room with tea and coffee facilities. We will gladly provide you with Regina’s homemade bread and/or biscuits.

"Wonderful Stay"

Regina and Jim could not have done anything more to enhance our wonderful stay. Wished we had found this place earlier and stayed longer. The breakfast certainly set you on your way for the day. Easy street parking outside and just around the corner from some great pubs

“What a delightful B&B to stay in. Hosts Jim and Regina go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Their patience is endless when giving directions, suggestions for places to visit, eateries, pubs, etc.. Kingstown House is located in town so you can walk everywhere which is nice when going out in the evening to a pub for a pint, or three.I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a place where your patronage is truly appreciated.”
