Leenane Annaul Mountain Walking Festival
Date: 1-3 May 2015
Where: Leenane, Connemara, Co. Galway
At least 3-Guided walks on each of the days with varying degrees of difficulty, from easy to strenuous. Each walk will have an experienced guide, including archaeologist Michael Gibbons and Geologist Kevin O Callaghan.
Walks will include the favorite Mweelrea Mountain walk, other walks include, but not limited to Maamtrasna, Ben Gorm and the Sheffreys. Transport will be provided to starting points and from finish points. Various local businesses will offer tea, coffee and scones at the end of each day. Connemara Mussel Festival

Where: Tullycross, Renvyle, Tully, Co. Galway
The Connemara Mussel Festival has been selected for the Megabite Award for the Best Food Festival 2014. This festival was established to promote the high quality mussels from Killary Harbour. The Bank Holiday weekend festival is a celebration of food, culture, heritage with many activities, including drama, music, art exhibitions, talks, walks, children activities, which will all compliment the food and cookery demonstrations. Be sure to take in and celebrate at least some of the 10th Connemara Mussel Festival!

31st Connemara Bog Week
The 31st Annual Bog Week event will be held from 22 May – 1 June 2015. Bog Week celebrates all which is wonderful and unique about Connemara. A small taste of some of the things one can experience during Bog Week include:
- Poetry reading at the Connemara National Park on 31 May 2015 at 3 pm featuring Eva Bourke, Joan McBreen and Michael Gorman
- Sean Nos dance workshops
- Traditional Music work shops
- Nightly Pub gigs with local singers & musicians

Inishbofin Walking Festival
The Inishbofin Walking Festival takes place on this stunning island off the coast of Cleggan. The weekend will offer participants a wide variety of walks. The itinerary includes walks with author and wildlife photographer Anthony McGeehan as well as local historian Tommy Burke who will expand your knowledge of Inishbofin and the surrounding area. Walks will take in the stunning scenery of Inishbofin and the Wild Atlantic Way, the wonderful beaches with crystal clear waters, as well as the flora and fauna of Bofin!

SKODA Tour de Conamara 2015
The 2015 SKODA Tour de Conamara will be held on Sat 23rd May 2015, beginning and ending in Clifden, Connemara. The choice of 2-routes, 140km (Starts at 9:30 AM) or 80km (Starts at 10:30 AM) routes is offered to participants. The routes take in some of the The Wild Atlantic Way, as well as some of the finest coastal and mountainous landscape in Connemara.

KYLEMORE ABBEY CONCERT – Acoustical Concert
A wonderful venue for an acoustic evening with Dermot Byrne (accordion), Flo Blanche (harp/vocals), Seamus O’Flatharta (harp/vocals), Plunkett O’Toole (flute) and Brid Treasa Ni Ghaoithin sean nos singer. The group will perform on Sunday evening at 8:00pm.
